The Simon FM mobile app is designed to complement the Simon FM web application. Once the facility, machines, and job plans are set up on the web application, technicians can utilize the Simon FM mobile app to carry out maintenance inspections linked to those job plans. The app operates efficiently with offline functionality, allowing technicians to retrieve inspections and work orders before venturing into remote areas. Even without an internet connection, technicians can conduct inspections, input data, and finalize the inspection process. Upon reconnecting to the internet, they can seamlessly sync their data to the server, effectively closing out the inspection. Furthermore, the app features a convenient barcode scanning option for machine labels, ensuring accurate machine identification during inspections.
